America now has an unprecedented opportunity to address catastrophic failures in the American justice system, study its impact on American society, study the potential damage to people, explore the options available and re-invent public safety. We seek to take advantage of all windows of opportunity to move public policy towards a civilian-focused law enforcement culture.
Based on our research, the one consistent truth rings louder than our other discoveries:
Better practices make better police.
Our mission is two fold - to promote comprehensive reform in the criminal justice system and to provide systemic level changes to how law enforcement engages with people. To address the trauma that impacts persons immediately after being harmed - we will develop funds to provide immediate financial aid to people who have been negatively impacted. Our enduring purpose is the preservation and respect for the lives of those who come into contact with authorities.
We want to take advantage of this unique chapter in American history -- while a large number of Americans believe that there is widespread racial bias, excessive use of force and injustice in American law enforcement.
We also seek to be the ultimate advocates for people who are most harmed, including victims and those who are wrongly accused, those who are denied their rights to equal protection, due process. We are dedicated to protecting those who are harmed and also those who are threatened trying to help others - who are harmed.
We seek to be a Good Samaritan organization, guided by Christian principals and love - with the moral and financial authority to put a major dent in our current culture, and the collective eyes and arms to reach out and help an individual facing extraordinary threats and trauma.
Our attorneys, media spokespersons, councilors, advocates will be supported by a vast army of online volunteers who will help to monitor, document, report cases of police abuse and get involved in online advocacy, training and education.
We will audit police, prosecutors and judges - find the problems, and recommend ways to make them more humane, constructive, equitable and fair. We will monitor every person in American prisons, to make certain they aren't neglected, abused or forgotten.
We will advocate for changes in legislation, policy, practices and education - to force immediate improvements in police, prosecutors, judges, prisons and media coverage.
Our biggest presence will be made in the media - online and traditional media. The Life Preservation Media Division will produce educational content, news content, and public service announcements to build support and inspire heavy donations.
We also build and deploy a service arm to provide immediate assistance to victims and families, in the form of financial relief, housing, psychological support, physical security and legal assistance.
Our motto of "Leaving No Citizen Behind" will be realized in our dedication to provide service, support and actual crisis assistance to victims and survivors of police racism, violence and murder. We plan on providing the ultimate safety-net for people who have been subjected to one of the most traumatic experiences in life - to be abused by police, prosecutors, prisons and judges.
We will be in the courts, in the media, in social media, and we'll be talking to legislators, mayors, governors and police organizations. Sometimes we'll be talking louder than anybody else. But we believe this is one of the most important causes in America. Please support us.
