Our most important strategy in the effort to spread public awareness - is education. We hope to bring discussion of criminal justice reform to every American institution.

Failures and abuses in the American criminal justice system has probably caused more damage than other epic failures in moral leadership from the past -- sexual abuse of children, drunk driving, spousal abuse and foreign war. Events in America, in 2020, sparked record-setting protests against police abuse and murder of Black Americans - all around the world. Yet lawmakers and the media largely dismissed the unprecedented social upheaval as disturbances by "anarchist" and "communists".

Despite the massive protests against police violence and murder of African Americans, none of the traditional civil rights organizations have launched media campaigns discussing the recent police killings or the issue of civil rights. TV campaigns promoting animal rights run non-stop on late night television, but years pass without a single PSA or ad dealing with injustice or racism in the legal system. The tacit treatment such an important topic by the American media -- does not match the extreme level of outrage being demonstrated on the streets of America. Not a single Black analyst, anchor or expert has been hired by any of the major U.S. television news divisions - even though the name "George Floyd" is known in households all around the world. Clearly - the mainstream U.S. news media does not seem to be willing or capable or investigating and reporting on what may be the most important human rights and political topic of the day.

Life Preservation will produce a vast library of videos dealing with many topics, ranging from how citizens should conduct themselves when stopped by police, to how police should protect themselves when coming into contact with citizens - without infringing upon citizen's rights or traumatizing citizens. Our courses will instruct citizens on their rights to videotape, witness, report anonymously, and deal with police investigators. We plan on producing instructional videos for professional and citizen photographers, reporters and news writers - dealing with records research, protection of private intellectual property and the 1st & 4th Amendments.
